Wow! It is hard to believe that there are only 12 days until the polls close and Slocan will elect our new council! The Village of Slocan will be providing 2 advanced voting opportunities for those who are unable to vote on general election day. The first advanced voting opportunity is tomorrow - Wednesday, November 5th from 8 am to 8pm. The second advanced voting opportunity will be the following Wednesday, November 12th from 8 am to 8 pm. General voting day is on Saturday, November 15, from 8 am to 8 pm. All voting opportunities take place at the Village of Slocan Office (Council Chambers) located at 503 Slocan Street.
I still have a lot of doors to knock on - and people to connect with. I have been enjoying the opportunity to speak with each of you - to hear your ideas, perspectives, and concerns.
